The people in Keurig Canada's Sales & Customer Service group live and breathe our brands. They're our company's ambassadors, and their passion for their work shines through in every interaction with our customers and prospects.
A true soccer lover who dared start life from scratch at age 26 when he moved to Canada, Parsa is at his core a team player. As Route Sales Representative, he says that he especially enjoys the flexibility his position at Keurig Canada affords him, as well as the "friendly, supportive and relaxed environment". Also a volunteer for the Surrey Food Bank, he appreciates the value of giving back: "There's just something about making people happy", he confides. If ever you hear of holographic coffee coming to market... it was his idea! And while you imagine what that would taste like, he delights in a more tangible dream for the (nearer) future: "driving an RV to South America!".
An Account Manager with extensive experience in customer service, Carol says the best part of her job is helping customers as well as coworkers. With an impressively loaded to-do list to match, she knows something about being busy: "Nine years ago, I was a single mom of three young boys, working two jobs day and night. When they hired me, I was beyond happy!" She says there's "a special place in my heart for Hawaii and its secrets", making the Pacific Island K-Cup® variety-"grown on Hawaiian soil!"-the one she would most likely turn into... if only her big heart could fit in! Her favorite company value, Innovate with Passion, steers everything she does, from customer care to volunteer work for the United Way, as a team captain.
With a background in science and a strong desire to promote healthy eating, Kensi is Van Houtte Coffee Services Territory Sales Manager for Saskatchewan, where she's proud to have greatly increased the distribution of K-Cup® packs in rural areas. "In the future, I would love to bring to market a Keurig smoothie maker", she admits, fueled by her favorite corporate value: We Innovate With Passion. She says that between travel, sales calls and chatting it up with co-workers, there's plenty to keep her passionate about her work.
Keurig's National Key Account Manager, George is at a loss when asked to describe his "typical work day": "It’s pretty much CRAZY!", he exclaims. "Most days are a blur. Every day's different, every one of my accounts presenting me with a new challenge." Together with that unpredictability, the words he uses to describe his work environment, "fast-paced", "dynamic" and "energetic", could just as well apply to a hockey game... but one where both sides win—because the big-time Habs fan is also a savvy negotiator: "I always ensure when working with my customers that we have a win-win partnership". And he adds: "The simple fact of working with customers who are excited about our brands and products is a big thing for me".
